Midwife Led Antenatal Classes
My name is Louise, I am a UK qualified and registered Nurse and Midwife. I joined the NHS in 2008, my first role being a Nurse on a large Neonatal unit. During this role I became passionate about supporting parents with breastfeeding and postnatal care and it led me on the journey to becoming a Midwife.
I have witnessed first hand the benefit of antenatal education during labour and the postnatal period and I wanted to offer my skills and knowledge to new parents. I understand the feeling of excitement, worry and bewilderment that pregnancy and caring for a new baby can bring and I am here to support you to enable you to make an informed decision during your birth.
Over the years many parents have said; "I didn't know it was going to be this hard". It can be hard, however, the benefits of good antenatal support and education can truly help.
