Mama Dance with Emma Deery
Hello beautiful Mama,
I'm Emma, Mother, Yoga teacher, Mindfulness Coach, Holistic lifestyle Mentor & creator of Mama Dance. As an ex-dancer/singer/actress, I created this class, after becoming a mother, out of a desperate need to exercise in a way that felt good & made me feel alive, instead of for the pressure to 'get my body back' & to get out of my over thinking/judging mum-head & just let my hair down like the good old days! I needed something fun & energising & a bit different to a normal exercise class & I heard other mothers crying out for the same. And so Mama Dance was born!
Let me tell you a little more about it:
Imagine there was a class you could go to where you could dance, feel sexy, get sweaty & shake off all the negative energy, anxiety & frustration that comes with being a mum.
Imagine you could bring your little ones with you to play, watch or sleep (or join in), followed by a beautiful guided relaxation & positive affirmations!
Well Mama Dance is that class. And you don’t even have to be able to dance! You just need a desire to get out of your head for a bit and feel good in your body.
This class is for YOU mamas. It’s not another Mum & Baby group where the focus is on your little one. The focus of Mama Dance is YOU & your wellbeing. Becoming a mother is a huge change. Our minds are different, our bodies are different, our opportunity for ‘me time’ is practically non-existent, & life can be pretty stressful. This class is the chance for you to get a bit of YOU back again.
